pregnancy mini retreat

a half day of prenatal yoga,  meditation, creativity, nutrition talk and lunch

Join prenatal yoga teacher + pop up yoga club founder Cassie and nutritionist Lauren for a mini retreat set at 50 Hill Rise in Richmond, west london. 


Bringing you a transformative mix of yoga, creativity, nourishing food and the chance to do your own solo maternity photoshoot if you wish. You can also add on mini prenatal treatment at the spa for some extra indulgence.

Cassie who is currently pregnant with her second child, will share her own positive stories of how yoga, breath and wellness helped her in preparation for birth and being a first time mum.

Everyone who books on will also receive a free spot for themselves plus a birth partner on The Parents Class Antenatal course in West London or Surrey in September or October (worth up to £250).

Schedule

2:00pm - Enjoy a pregnancy yoga class suitable for all trimesters
2:50pm - A hypnobirthing inspired meditation session to relax and restore
3:00pm - Sit down for a cup of pregnancy safe herbal tea and mingle

 3:00pm - A chance to have a solo maternity portrait taken if you wish

3:15pm Enjoy delicious and nourishing homemade refreshments by our nutritionist 
3:30pm - Nutrition talk about what to eat during pregnancy and the 4th trimester
4:00pm - Affirmation bracelet making workshop

5:00pm - Go home with a goodie bag, feeling restored, relaxed and inspired

What you can expect.

Cassie will be teaching a pregnancy flow class with gentle movement, breath work, pelvic floor exercises and restorative set-ups to feel calm and deeply relaxed. We go through breathing practices that you can use during labour and we focus on easing common pregnancy niggles. Ending with meditation or a hypnobirthing style of yoga nidra to increase your oxytocin and prepare you for a positive birth experience.

Lauren will lead a talk focusing on essential nutrients during pregnancy and post-birth for both you and baby, and provide a delicious vegan spread along this theme. Enjoy this time to meet and mingle with other mamas-to-be and chat more with Cassie, and our nutritionist Lauren.

Cassie will be hosting an affirmation bracelet making workshop. You'll choose a powerful word that resonates to you during pregnancy, placing this on a bracelet alongside gemstones and beads.

 

Alina, a maternity and newborn photographer from Apple Grove Studio will be holding mini maternity photoshoots. These are optional but available to all of our attendees.

Who can join?

We welcome all mamas who are pregnant - right up until the end of third trimester.

​No prior yoga experience is needed.

A great opportunity to meet and mingle with a group of mamas in a safe space.

This event will be adults only - we will hold future events with the little ones.
